Mark Ball, Managing Director

Mark is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Emerging Sun. He has over 11 years of management and strategy consulting experience. Mark started his career as a project engineer for AstraZeneca. After completing his MBA, he worked for several years as a management consultant with AT Kearney and Blue Ridge Partners. Most recently, he managed IT contract negotiations for Fannie Mae, a U.S. based mortgage financing leader. Mark brings extensive experience in project management, asset valuation, business planning and corporate due diligence through numerous international project engagements. He has managed numerous engagements and diverse project teams to address executive level issues for various Fortune 500 companies, from data gathering and analysis through implementation of strategic recommendations. Mark has also helped clients evaluate company assets to surface opportunities for joint ventures, acquisitions and other sources of value creation.

Mark has an MBA in finance and strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
